Challenges on the home front
Life has its ups and downs for sure. Without getting
too specific, we are dealing with a situation that has
caused me to do A LOT of thinking.
One of those things is on GRATITUDE....or lack of!
Have you ever been around someone that has no
appreciation for the things they have or the things
that have been given to them? WORSE yet, has
that person, to get what they want, used, stealed,
and lied to family and friends to have what it is
they can not afford or need?!
Well, suffice it to say, it is something I am facing
at the present. Definitely takes its toll on you.
What to do?
It is my belief that you let the person sleep in
the bed they made. Do you agree? Even if it means
they will experience a lot of painful changes in their
life not only short term but long as well.
To do anything else would just continue to rescue
them (which has been going on most of their life)
and continue to teach them that they will be given
a way out the next time.
What do you think? Does there come a time, after
helping even a family member financially, emotionally,
etc. that you cut them off?
If you have an experience like this, or just an opinion,
post it at my forum...here.
Call it what you will, drama, stress, family crisis, struggles...
sure takes it out of you!
More coming on the power of gratitude....I think what may
be one if not the most powerful keys to understanding
and experiencing a rewarding life!
