Who says time doesn't fly?
Well, I sure haven't been keeping up. I tend to get like this when I
allow too many options to stay on my plate. I am being torn in many
directions.
I have four features in progress for OurSprings.com. Had a great time
interviewing a local business for my first selection for my section on
our best referrals in the area. I am going to make this feature my
first priority to finish. I think the Community View has been popular.
Have a better plan for the archive sections to implement too.
Internet hype continues to burden me. I am finding FEW real people out
there succeeding. I liken most of the online offers in the how to
genre for online marketing and success are much like the multi level
marketing schemes of the past. A whole lot of sizzle! and only a very
small percentage actually doing what they say they are doing. I see it
like this: a few people parading as authorities with a lot of rah rah
yelling from the roof tops that YOU can do this or that...and the key
is purchasing THEIR instructional tapes, ebooks, dvd, ad naseum...I
know that I am not interested in marketing a lot of bull to the masses
looking for the easy answer...of which there is none.
A decision on Everyday Wealth
Over the past year I affiliated myself with the company,
EverdayWealth. I happily successful offering the online service which
focused on debt management and identity theft protection. I earlier
wrote that I was reevaluating my position with the service and here is
my present conclusion.
While I still use and have the service and find it to be a great value
in and of itself, I do not like the new changes affecting how one
markets the service, specifically the fees required to basically buy a
management position. In my opinion, that is nothing more than a way
for one to pad the upfront commissions.
So I plan to keep the service part at this time but am not going to
continue actively marketing the service.
We must not lose our resolve!
While recent events in Iraq really are disturbing and horrorfying, is
anyone else angered by the actions of those here on the homefront in
their lack of support for our troops?
I am feeling that we are losing our willingness to do what it takes to
destroy terrorism. Worse, I don't think as many feel there is a need
to do this. What a mistake that would be.
