It's A HARD Business

Everyone I had talked to about starting a restaurant said that it is a hard business.

Everyone has given the advice that you really can't understand some things unless YOU have done them.

Hold judgement until you've walked a mile in their shoes.

Well, it would be an understatement for me now to say... starting and having your own restaurant is HARD work! The stories I could tell...and will in time.

I am going to be making a decision about how to continue, or whether to continue in this restaurant business. It is a tough one as I really do like many aspects of it..the people...customers and most of the employees. But the challenges of the business are many times overwhelming.

It's easy to get tired! That is true I am convinced in every business...

But especially true in the restaurant biz. And that is what they told me.
