Just $97 ... (right)

I am coming out and saying it!

The sales pitch/offer Just $97 dollars is a JOKE!

I am sure you have seen them. Those online ebooks, reports, services, products yada, yada, yada. It's only NINETY-SEVEN-DOLLARS!

I received an email today from some big time online guru. His latest marketing strategy, one assuring to take me to online financial riches, was just .... $97.

I am to the point that no matter what the product or service being promoted online, if the price is Ninety-SEVEN-DOLLARS, I'm NOT purchasing it. And I am sure there are some things out there that might be worth that price.

I know that ending a price in a 7 is good marketing strategy. I am not sure who the first online guru was that sold his product for $97. Or what that product was. I started seeing this price a number of years ago. I'd like to see a list of the things that have been marketed over the last 5 years for $97 dollars.

Call ME stupid, but the price $97 dollars conveys this message ... what a joke.

Let me offer for FREE some consumer research to all these net savvy marketers. Put a different selling price on your stuff....and I might buy it!
