The Challenges and the Projects

At this time, I have a little too much on my plate! I have plans/goals in the making for a website about the city I live in. Now this has been in the works for almost a year now! I am often brought to a standstill for various reasons (translation=excuses): not knowing the HOW TO, the seemingly ridicules number of choices on going about the process, my perfectionist attitude....fellow Virgos will know what I mean...sometimes just plain laziness.

I have a couple of online business ideas I have developing..one actually making money! The items on that plate include an ebook (the rough draft of which is almost completed), an online service that reduces one's debt in half the time and turns their overpaid interest into a powerful investment, learning the nuts and bolts of website creation, (this has been very frustrating) and just daily trying to continue finding sources that will help in reaching a successful outcome.

I will matter-of-factly share what has/is working for me and what has/is NOT working. I try to always look at the positive of things, but if there is one thing missing out there it is often the telling of the things that did not go as planned. I believe we always learn so much more from our and other's failures ... if we take the approach to learn and not criticize.

In attempting to progress through all of this, it is SOOO easy to be overwhelmed by the amount of information. At least I find that to be so because I tend to have to consider ALL of the angles before I make decisions on the direction to take. Ultimately, taking action is most often the best next step!

I will update my Blog regularly..if nothing else it will be a record I can look back on to see where I was and hope it helps guide me in a forward direction! If you are walking a similar path, I hope it helps with your efforts..and if you see something I am doing that you have some insight on, drop me a note. (email: peak_income@yahoo.com)

I find that collaboration is a powerful piece of the success puzzle. Amazing how helpful it is to work with people of like-minds. A friendship that has actually developed through the internet is with my friend Steve. Read about him in the local newspaper and went to check out his web site. (note: it took me a long time to believe there were real people out "there" and I am still guarded in my trust of online partnerships...)

His site, www.coloradoguy.com, is unique to say the least. It is pretty funny stuff, as long as you don't take life too seriously. Anyway, I came to understand that behind the fun and the tongue in cheek humor, there is a guy that is attempting to reach very meaningful goals in life much like the rest of us. And struggling just like MOST of us. Check it out. It will help relieve some stress.
